Welcome to Mumbai — the city’s own trades, in depth

Mumbai’s film, finance, banking, diamonds, markets, port, media, pharma, textiles and food.

Mumbai runs ten trades at once, and each of them is the biggest of its kind in India. It makes the country’s films, sets its share prices, runs its banks, trades its diamonds, wholesales its goods, moves its cargo, writes its advertising, runs the head offices of its pharmaceutical industry, trades its cloth, and feeds itself standing up on the street. WelcomeToMumbai.in covers all ten in depth.
