Mumbai trades what Surat cuts. The Bharat Diamond Bourse at Bandra Kurla Complex, opened in 2010 on about twenty acres, replaced a trade that had run out of the Opera House buildings and Zaveri Bazaar for generations, and it now handles the great majority of India's diamond exports.
